Reach Trucks: Reach trucks are particularly made narrow-aisle trucks that are made for storage and retrieval. They are made of outriggers and telescoping forks that enable the operators to lift a load and then retract it over the outriggers. These models are not suitable for unloading or loading trucks, nor for transporting loads quickly over long distances. Similar to the order selector, reach trucks could be available for lifting heights which are higher than 30 feet.
Rotating-Mast Trucks and Turret Trucks: Rotating-mast trucks are similar to typical sit-down forklifts. The main distinction is that their masts are able to rotate in one direction, to a ninety degree angle. This feature allows them to function within a narrow aisle condition. Turret trucks could work in narrow or very narrow aisle locations. Like order selectors, these machinery are capable of lifting both the cargo and the operator. Moreover, they could allow the operator to handle loads on either side of an aisle without exiting and re-entering the aisle.
Fuel Economy: On a European testing field, the Mitsubishi forklift has always shown less fuel per hour compared to similarly sized Toyota, Hyster and Nissan units. To illustrate this point, compared to the Hyster truck, the FG25N used about 1 lb. less per hour. This amount of fuel could add up to thousands of dollars over the lifetime of the truck.
The alternating current or AC electric forklift trucks made by Mitsubishi use thermal efficiencies and the newest technologies to show high efficiency ratings. These are among the features which truly make these particular units very popular.
Visibility: The designers at Mitsubishi produce their diesel forklifts while taking into consideration the opening between the free lift assembly and the mast channels. Compared to competitor models, these features result in a wider free space and narrow lift cylinder between the masts on all new forklift trucks. This design enhances visibility and helps to reduce operator exhaustion.
