Start-up of the lift truck industry
Korea’s original domestic forklift market was an open-import enterprise. In the 1960’s, Korea Machinery Co. Ltd. started to import assembled forklifts as part of a nationwide machinery expansion venture. Early product sales of this industrialized equipment focused on large business communities, the armed services and on state-run firms. This ultimately led to a merger with Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. In 1976, the Forklift Division commenced business operations throughout Korea to service and sell this heavy equipment. By 1978, a lift truck manufacturing plant was successfully completed. Continuous technical instruction grew to become the new focus for improving quality and product development.
The general efficiency of the propane lift truck is impressive. As the propane cylinders can be changed in hardly any time, the machinery can be back on the job reasonably quick in view of the fact that it experiences hardly any downtime. It is not like the electric lift truck where extra batteries must be acquired to be utilized while the original battery can take up to 8 hours of cooling time and 8 hours of charging time depending on the unit.
Safety
In view of the fact that the propane forklift has a sealed fuel system, it is much safer to operate as opposed to the various kinds of forklifts offered. The propane fuel cylinders themselves adhere to strict national code specialization and are sealed to ensure optimum safety. Propane gas even functions with less energy than CNG gas, thus, if any mishap happens, there is a system where the fuel is turned off. This significantly minimizes the probable risk and destruction that can happen. Refilling options are even beneficial for the operator. If they would prefer to refuel somewhere else, the cylinders can be transported to a refilling centre. If the company chooses, the refilling can be done on site instead.
